The 1905 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Kings Mountain Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by J.S. Farmer. Rev. T. Dixon was selected to attend the 1906 Southern Convention. Boiling Springs was selected as the best location for the new denominational high school, and the Association agreed to provide funding to help with the construction of the school building.
